ferries to lerosLeros has daily ferry connections from Piraeus. Ferry Boats departing from the North part of Piraeus Port Gate E2. Arriving from Athens airport with the Metro, you can use the free Bus service witch is located opposite the main entrance of the station at the port.
The buses takes you at the ships.
The best way though is with direct flights from Athens or with flights to Kos and from there you can use the hydrofoils or Catamaran on a daily basis from April until October , schedules also connecting the island of Leros with the islands of Rhodes, Symi, Kos, Kalymnos, Lipsi, Patmos, Agathonissi and Samos.

The Dodekanissos Express and Dodekanissos Pride have daily departures from Kos every day at 10:20 Arrival at Leros at noon

Ferries to Leros from Piraeus

Blue Star Ferries is the only ferry company that manages all the ferries to Leros from Athens. The journey is long, over 9 hours, and you always pass by Lipsi and Patmos before tackling the crossing to Piraeus. The journey is comfortable, even in relation to the price, and is usually around 45 euro.

Ferry schedules to Leros from other islands

Reaching Leros from the other islands of the Dodecanese is the prerogative of the Dodekanisos Seaways catamaran. This runs up to Agathonissi and down to Rhodes.

Leros is also connected during the summer with some islands of the Cyclades like, Amorgos and Syros with the Blue Star Ferries twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

Leros is on the main Dodecanese island route and so has good daily ferry connections. There are daily ferries to Leros from Piraeus  and boats usually sail from Piraeus around 2pm.

As Leros is on the main Dodecanese islands ferry route there are connections daily from Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos, Lipsi, Patmos, Nisyros and Symi. These sailings include car ferries,hydrofoils and catamarans.

The catamarans Dodekanisos Express and Dodekanisos Pride run daily services through Leros to all the main Dodecanese islands.

Leros is near many small islands and islets in this part of the Dodecanese and in high summer there are daily excursions to islands such as Lipsi, Patmos, Marathi, Arki, Aspronisia and others.

The ‘Barabarossa’ sailing boat offers daily excursions from Agia Marina at 11am and returning at 7pm. There are also day trips from Leros Island to Kinaros, Levitha and Marathi
