Leros is connected by ferry with ferry routes from Piraeus with the Dodecanese Line Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, Kos, Rhodes. The two main ferry companies that serve Leros are Bluestar Strintzis with bluestar 1 and 2 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the company Agudimos with various ships of the company mainly with Anthi Marina.

Leros is connected to the other islands of the Dodecanese throughout the year with the catamarans of the Dodecanese shipping company 12ne.gr  and their catanmarans Dodekanisos Pride and Express, arriving daily in Leros at 12 noon from Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos for Lipsi and Patmos and departing at approximately 2.45 for Kalymnos , Kos, Rhodes.

There are routes to Symi 1-2 times a week. In the summer, Leros is also connected to the above islands and Samos by the Zeus flying dolphin. There are also routes to Leipsos, Patmos, Agathonisi and Kalymnos with the small ferry Kalymnos of ANEK lines. in the summer there is also a route from Patmos with the PATMOS STAR and from and to Lipsi with the Anna Express, In addition, the Anna Express, which has  a base in Lipsi and  serving as well connections to Samos, Leros, Arki, Agathonissi and Myrties, on the north coast of Kalymnos. All perfect destinations for day trips from Leros.

Leros has daily ferry connections from Piraeus. Ferry Boats departing from the North part of Piraeus Port Gate E2. Arriving from Athens airport with the Metro, you can use the free Bus service witch is located opposite the main entrance of the station at the port.
The buses takes you at the ships.
The best way though is with direct flights from Athens or with flights to Kos and from there you can use the hydrofoils or Catamaran on a daily basis from April until October , schedules also connecting the island of Leros with the islands of Rhodes, Symi, Kos, Kalymnos, Lipsi, Patmos, Agathonissi and Samos.

The Dodekanissos Express and Dodekanissos Pride have daily departures from Kos every day at 10:20 Arrival at Leros at noon

Flights to Leros

There are several ways to fly to Leros. Arriving at the Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Athens you can take the 50 seat air plane daily direct to Leros witch leaves usually at 9.30 in the morning, the flight is about 55 minutes. An other way is to take the plane to Kos or Samos and from there you can take the fast hydrofoils or Catamarans, duration of journey about 1 hour from Kos and

All of the ferries boats from Italy arriving at Patras,the trip to Athens is about 2 hours by Bus train or Car.
