The beach of Gourna in Leros
Gourna is a settlement on the western side of Leros. In recent years, many houses and villas have been built since the area has an endless view of the western Aegean and wonderful sunsets.
Its beach is the only beach of Leros with sand and the waters are shallow at some distance from the beach. It has many trees and on the slopes there are olive trees and fields.
You can go there from Alinda by following the road to Partheni, turning left at the first turn. From Lakki you can go via the road that passes by PIKPA to the area of Plaka and Gourna.
In Gourna you will find some mini markets and a restaurant on the beach. You can find shade under the pine trees on the beach or in the umbrellas that are there.
